Outside-the-box is the brain child of Bernie
Hilton and Jeff Johnson, both of which have worked extensively in
the floor covering product and distribution industry. It became
quite clear to them that for many distributors and even manufacturers,
getting good marketing support just wasn’t happening.
For many, a marketing budget simply did not
exist or if it did, they just weren’t getting what they wanted,
when they wanted it. To that, Bernie and Jeff created
“outside-the-box” with the sole purpose of providing rapid
response marketing support for flooring distributors and manufacturers
alike. Counting on their experience in marketing communications,
graphic and web design, advertising and other related marketing
functions, “outside-the-box” was created.
With over 25 years in marketing experience,
Jeff’s main driver is how to build and protect “the
brand”. His unique talent is to find
“outside-the-box” ways and means to communicate a message
to the desired customer base. Extremely effective in creating the
“right image” needed to convey client concepts.
Bernie’s 25 years working with all
aspects of the floor covering industry make him one of the most well
known and well connected people in the floor covering industry,
He has an excellent working understanding of the floor covering
distribution market and is talented in listening to customer needs and
converting them into business solutions.
Lara Sawczak - Creative Designer,
A strong creative talent with a natural
flair for graphic and logo design. She has a wide range of design
skills to draw upon and is happiest in the studio, making
contemporary ideas work. With over 15 years of design experience,
